Fox & the Red Hares

We did it last week, and again this week, so I guess it’s official now: I’ve joined up with Fox and the Red Hares as their new keyboard player!

My first show with them will be December 4th with Paul Hernandez, the Stupid Daikini, and the Fancy Grins at the Mission Tobacco Lounge in Riverside. (check my calendar or the Facebook event page for more details)

We’re working really hard to get a killer set ready. It should have a little bit of everything: rock, soul, country, and a lot of attitude. The show is right after the art walk, so be sure to stay late and check us out.

Our entire set from last year’s Monsters of Mexican Metal festival performance in Mexico City is available on YouTube! It was a great show with a fantastic crowd. This was the night we first released the Death Prophet mask to the public! The video also contains a rare performance of the Nahuatl song “Evolucion”!

Mission Complete: Hell & Heaven 2014

I just returned from playing the True Metal stage at Hell & Heaven festival in Mexico City with Pro-fé-cia. The crowd, crew, bands, and promoters were all fantastic! An extra big thanks to the guys from Cemican, Cephalic Carnage, and Obituary for hanging out and being so much fun backstage!

Pictures are slowly rolling in from fans, crew, and press. I’ll try to collect as many as I can and stick them up here soon.

Pro-fé-cia confirmed for Hell & Heaven 2014

There was a lot of drama surrounding the cancellation of Hell & Heaven 2014, but it’s been rescheduled for October 25th and still has a killer lineup… and Pro-fé-cia is, of course, a part of it!

KISS, Rob Zombie, Overkill, Angra, Christian Death, Obituary, Rotting Christ, Annihilator, U.D.O., Venom, Terrorizer, Havok, Maligno, Makina, Next, Wrecker, From Oblivion, Cemican… basically EVERY band.

Pro-fé-cia in Tijuana

Haven’t posted any updates in a while. I’ve been without a computer for a month or so and maintaining a website via smartphone or tablet isn’t exactly ideal.

Pro-fé-cia will be playing with Alvath (who have a new album out) next Friday, May 30th at RockStation in Tijuana.

We had a great gig at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium on the 1st. I’ve got some really nice pictures from that show that I will put up ASAP.

Euthanasia reunion show

It’s been more than 5 years since our last performance, but the drummer from my old band, Euthanasia, is visiting this week. To celebrate, we’re playing a show!

Tomorrow, Saturday the 29th, we will be playing at J’s Lounge in Fullerton. Free show, all ages, starts at 7. We go on at 10.

The guys in this band are 4 of my best friends, and this was how we all cut our teeth. Death metal, a bit of punk, comedy, and a lot of beer. It’s going to be a blast!
