Is it a solo? Is it an instrumental break?
Who cares?! Labels don’t change how it sounds, and it sounds awesome.

This song is badass. That’s all I can say. It’s just a killer tune with an epic video and a great solo. The bass break in the middle of the solo is one of my favorite things ever. As awesome as this song is, you would think Junior Romanelli would have written more songs for the band (this was his only one). It’s way different than most of the other Plasmatics stuff, but it shows that Wendy O. was perfectly suited to be a straight up metal vocalist.
I love this song. It just popped into my head a couple nights ago and I couldn’t go to sleep before I figured it out, so here’s the solo:
I’ve got a few students working on this song right now, so the solo is fresh under my fingers. I had a short break in my day so I decided to do another quick lesson video.
I was practicing for the Copycats gig this past Saturday and decided to make a quick video on how I play Danny Cedrone’s fantastic solo from “Rock Around the Clock”
Two back-to-back shows coming up this month!
Saturday the 14th I will be playing with the Copycats at Shady Nook in Brea. Early rock’n’roll covers with a few other treats mixed in.
The next night Pro-fé-cia will be playing with Banda Bostik, Lvzbel, and many others at El Club in Huntington Park. Check it out:
Haven’t posted any updates in a while. I’ve been without a computer for a month or so and maintaining a website via smartphone or tablet isn’t exactly ideal.
Pro-fé-cia will be playing with Alvath (who have a new album out) next Friday, May 30th at RockStation in Tijuana.
We had a great gig at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium on the 1st. I’ve got some really nice pictures from that show that I will put up ASAP.
The calendar is up to date, so check there for any and all upcoming shows.

Ohhhhh hell yeah!
Look what just showed up at my door!
Big thanks to Joe over at MDG for helping me take my love of Laney amps to the next level. I’ve been playing Laneys for a long time, but now it’s official.
You can hear this beast in action this Saturday at the Pro-fé-cia anniversary show in Downey.
It’s been more than 5 years since our last performance, but the drummer from my old band, Euthanasia, is visiting this week. To celebrate, we’re playing a show!
Tomorrow, Saturday the 29th, we will be playing at J’s Lounge in Fullerton. Free show, all ages, starts at 7. We go on at 10.
The guys in this band are 4 of my best friends, and this was how we all cut our teeth. Death metal, a bit of punk, comedy, and a lot of beer. It’s going to be a blast!
